i don't understand pace? i know what the word means but what do you mean 12min/mile?

Pace means that (on average) it took me 12 minutes to run one mile, I use pace to try and keep track of my fitness level.

Today was an easy run day because I was so tired from Taekwondo yesterday, so I didn’t change my speed at all during the run, which is why I feel comfortable measuring pace. It would be different if I was doing speed drills :):)
